Amiga Future is looking again for reinforcements

Published 10.04.2024 - 13:35 by AndreasM

News originally published on: 08.02.2024 - 12:53

Seeing as our printed edition of Amiga Future has now been published for over 25 years, we are at a point when we need to massively increase our editorial team for the magazine and also the home pages for our website.
The idea behind this is to relieve the workload on more of our entire team, to better distribute the load amongst all our editorial staff, and in so doing reduce the stress and workload on everyone involved, while at the same time further increasing the magazine's overall quality.

It is all in the hope that the next 25 years will be a little easier for everyone in the editorial team, and even better for our readers. :)

10 years of KULTMAGS

Published 07.04.2024 - 02:10 by AndreasM

Klaus Sommer writes:

It's hard to believe and it seems like it was only yesterday, but the www.kultmags.com project is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month.

The creation of www.kultmags.com actually began a few years before that! The people behind the fansite www.pcplayer.de had already received permission about 5 years earlier to make the PC Player editions available there in digital form and so there were several considerations as to how to best use the magazines could digitize. At that time I already had some experience with the digitization of magazines and so I offered my support to digitize all the magazines for www.pcplayer.de as long as the magazines were made available to me in paper form. It didn't take long before I had two boxes [as far as I remember they were Pamper's packaging ;-) ] on my doorstep, full of all the PC player editions. At that time I was still a student and was on summer vacation... so the scanning process progressed relatively quickly because I really wanted to keep my word to completely digitize all the magazines for www.pcplayer.de.
