"What's truly terrifying is that I can write this review purely from memory!"

This is not a spectator game. This is not a sensible game. This is not a game which anyone should play unless under already ridiculous or crazy circumstances.
How much can one say about a game based on a Chimp called Charlie, running over yellow platforms colouring them green while beating seemingly defenceless animals to pulp? Yes, that's what you do. The main objectives are to colour all of the bricks green, but you must touch them all three times to do it, plus you must beat-up (and destroy) all of the 'enemies' that walk around the level before the timer runs out. Enemies are things such as snakes, pelicans, turtles, and robots (eventually!).
I have no idea about the plot, but the game spawned sequels and even an Xmas special! (god help us) The graphics are standard Amiga; side-on bitmapped characters and backgrounds. Control is sub-basic, left-right-up-down-attack, with the game's repetitive nature, the control scheme feels even more basic. Sound... well... if you are like most members of my family, you will probably hate them. But if you have a good sense of 'toilet-humour' (shall we say) you will find it vaguely amusing for a while.
There are plenty of pick-ups and bonuses, even super-weapons like giant boxing gloves and footballs. Charlie uses different weapons such as hockey sticks, baseball bats and tennis rackets, which all have different strike power and reaching distance. The bosses are mildly challenging and very bizarre half the time. You will have no trouble completing this game...
"Hiee-Ya!"
