"The Gods need a new champion, a mortal of Earth with character, cunning and most of all, belief."

Myth could be one of the most unique and challenging game outlooks on Roman, Greek, Norse, Viking and Egyptian mythology ever made. Now that I think about it, it is the only game to succeed in combining all of these myths!
The plot, as only described in the manual, speaks of the evil god Dameron becoming self-appointed leader of both immortal and mortal worlds. His plan is to destroy all mortal life in the modern world by changing history and the past of humanity. The remaining good Titans had been searching the globe for a new hero to battle through the cornerstones of time, to put right all of Dameron's evil wrong doing to settle the wheels of our history in the right direction once more. This is History in the Making!
I originally had this game on our old Amstrad system, and in fact this manual is from that old copy, and we enjoyed it so much that we found a copy for the Amiga system. The graphics are effective for such lacking systems (the game is based purely within 48Kbs of memory!) and the artwork is crisp and refined. The bitmaps only have a small degree of three dimensions however, and sometimes monsters (especially the larger ones) can look a bit... flat panel. Check the demon that rises from the flames on the 'Hades City of the Damned' level!
A very good game, though at times it is rough and very tough to complete, it is compelling and intelligent; some brain-power is required to proceed through the levels! ;¬)
