"The term 'old arcade game' probably isn't enough to describe this title!"

If you were wondering, S.T.U.N awkwardly stands for: Spread Tunnel Underground Network. Now you know.
The main ploy of this game is to guide your STUN ship through a maze of twisting tunnels and roads, avoiding obstacles and enemy craft, as you blast your way through the twenty-four levels to the Ultimate Challenge. Okay, that was lifted from the manual, but I didn't even know there were twenty-four levels... I could barely get through the first wave! (There's one particular first race that you must race absolutely flat out and hit all of the markers to complete the track)
You are guided through the levels by green star markers, which you must follow if you want to receive a 'shockwave' power up. Any guesses what that might be? ;¬) You also get pink turbo boost pads that make your ship invincible as you move 'so fast'.
Admittedly, this is the 80s idea of the F-Zero-X franchise and the WipeOut series (cough), well, everything has a beginning! Graphics are very flat panel, though the design of the STUN ship is a pretty cool looking ship. Shame it doesn't show in-game. Controls are shaky as the refresh rate is hectic, sometimes its like threading wool through a needle head! I played this to get the sounds, and ultimately I completed the entire game! (Seems my F-Zero-GX driving has made me more than a match for this title!)
The main theme is excellent and the sounds are not too shabby. Not really recommended, its very old, but good for nostalgia's sake.
