Now this was a challenging game!

This is the single Turtles game I have ever played, and fortunately it is one of the biggest, if not toughest.
I played this game so much, and yet it became (like many Amiga titles) incredibly hard. As expected, all four Turtles are present, and they must do battle with the villianous Shredder who has kidnapped April (that'll be the damsel in distress then). You start your mission after having typed in a code found the the manual; I mention it only because the code pages were as memorable as the game itself. Gritty textured red and black, like dried blood almost, with black print codes, column after column with page numbers and references linked to the game's password screen. Ah, memories.
Anyway, you have all four Turtles and must choose one to start off with. For me it was always Leonardo, he was the coolest one and wore blue. With your Turtle you must scoure the city in search for April, but of course all you'll find will be dozens of ninja footsoilders and weird bugs and monsters! Down in the sewers, on rooftops, in the streets and underwater, you'll get to drive the Turtles' prized battle wagon too!
Unfortunately, this game also defeated me. I managed to get far further than Bebop and Rocksteady, and past the underwater bomb disarming - which was distressing! - but every time a Turtle dies, you must go onto another... until there are none left!
Better than Captain Planet by a long shot, but still pretty tricky for a kids' game!
