Screen dragging has always been one of the most iconic features of classic Amigas: you could open different screens at any resolution and have them partially shown on the same monitor, a kind of magic that following PC operating systems never managed to replicate on more powerful hardware. AROS and Icaros users could already drag screens with Nvidia and Intel native drivers for some time, however latest nightly builds hide a great surprise for their users: it is now possible to do that with VESA drivers too! Here you can see the screenshot of a current, internal installation of Icaros Desktop running with VESA drivers on VMware Workstation, showing this wonderful feature. Unluckily for current users, newest kernels are not compatible with 1.2.6's GRUB boot loader, so you will have to wait for the next Icaros release to activate it. The good news, however, is that there will be a next release and I am working on it. Slowly, but still progressing...
