I have tried very hard to find the bug that is causing AOS4 to crash. I haven't yet found it, even though I have replace a lot of code.
I have fixed probable problem with helpfile loading. Was using string for buffer, when I should have been using allocated memory. If the filename was extra long it could crash the info window. According to a short message in the comment forum ofAmiga-News.de an Amiga clone, based on the Clone-A project will be available for Cristmas business this year.
Clone-A is an excact replication of the ECS Amiga customchips in FPGA, done by Jens Schönfeld of Individual-Computers with that chipset and CPU, RAM, ROM and the CIAs it would be possible to build a 100% compatible Amiga Clone without any original customchips.
