BGUI: BOOPSI Graphical User Interface for AmigaOS

BGUI: BOOPSI Graphical User Interface for AmigaOS

The Basic Object Oriented Programming System for Intuition (short: BOOPSI) was introduced with AmigaOS 2. It extends the Amiga GUI Intuition by an object-oriented interface. This makes it possible, for example, to connect individual GUI elements with one another so that, for example, a slider writes the currently set value into a text field.

The BGUI project for AmigaOS has now appeared on GitHub, which stands for BOOPSI Graphical User Interface. Or to drive it wild: Basic Object Oriented Programming System for Intuition Graphical User Interface. BGUI brings a software development kit (SDK) for the development of applications for AmigaOS with the programming languages C and E, it contains a GUI builder, documentations in Autodoc, AmigaGuide and HTML format, a builder for documentations, libraries for the development of BGUI applications in ARexx as well as a preferences editor with which BGUI applications can be customized in their look and feel.

BGUI is available in the official GitHub repository: https://github.com/fkhannouf/BGUI
