In October 1989 there was really something going on in our latitudes. While the masses in Leipzig chanted “We are the people”, a small team in Haar near Munich was already beheading the corks. The birth of the Amiga Joker was celebrated.
Happy birthday, dear Amiga Joker! You celebrated your 30th birthday in October last year. I am pleased that I can write a few words on this occasion. But wait, who's actually writing here? If I can briefly introduce myself: My name is Richard Löwenstein and I was able to closely follow this game magazine - perhaps the greatest in the universe. Was there for five years, from September 1991 to the last edition in October 1996.
