Obituary for Jean Baudlot

Published 28.03.2021 - 12:15 by osz

Unfortunately the Amiga news is not always good.

As reported by the Polish Amiga Portal (Polski Portal Amigowy, ppa.pl for short), Jean Baudlot died a few days ago, on March 24th, 2021 at the age of 74. Jean Baudlot was a French composer and singer. His musical career began in the 1970s, where he worked as a composer for French pop and chanson singers, first with Polydor, later AZ and Discodis and finally, from 1979 onwards, for Delphine Records. In 1988 Delphine Records founded the game company Delphine Software International, from then on Jean Baudlot composed numerous pieces of music for the Amiga and Atari ST gaming world, including games such as Cruise for a Corpse, Operation Stealth and Future Wars. Together with Fabrice Visserot, he also composed the music for the game Flashback.
