The Game Magazyn ((Sokoban-Klon)

Published 04.07.2020 - 18:04 by blueluna

Robert Szacki wrote the game Magazyn (Sokoban clone).
You can play levels individually and the control panel shows information about points, keys and stacked boxes.
To pass the board, of course, you have to arrange the boxes in the target boxes.
It is possible to edit, read, save and test your own boards. Further animations should be added.

Trevors Blog: Kickstarting put of Lockdown

Published 04.07.2020 - 14:28 by AndreasM

Trevor write:

It's been a while since my last update but, with the Covid-19 pandemic still dominating world news and events, it looks like my plan to attend various international Amiga 35 events will definitely be cancelled this year. Most of the shows I was planning to attend have at best been delayed, or at worst cancelled altogether due to Covid-19. Flashback 2020 is the latest event to be cancelled which is now scheduled for June 2021. Not that it really makes much difference to me since New Zealand has imposed strict quarantine restrictions and if I could actually leave the country I would be held in a government approved quarantine facility for fourteen days on my return to make sure I did not have the virus. Such is life.

MUI 5.0-2020R1 for AmigaOS4/PPC and AmigaOS3/m68k released

Published 04.07.2020 - 14:25 by AndreasM

The MUI for AmigaOS development team is proud to announce the immediate release of version 5.0-2020R1 of the Magic User Interface for AmigaOS4/PPC and AmigaOS3/m68k. Please find the release archives in our download section .

Like all former releases a keyfile is required to enable all available settings. Old keyfiles from MUI 3.8 can be used without any restriction.

Please note that MUI5 for AmigaOS3/m68k is definitely targeted at powerful systems with a fast CPU and a fast graphic board. Although it is still possible to run this release on a real 68k machine an emulation like WinUAE is very highly recommended. Also colormapped screens with 256 colors at most are still supported, but MUI5 makes heavy use of fancy truecolor images and effects which cannot be provided on colormapped screens with the full range of possibilities.
