Schon seit vielen Jahren arbeitet die Software-Schmiede Eternity an dem rundenbasierten, Online-Multiplayer-Mittelalter-Strategiespiel "Tales of Tamar". Angelehnt an den Klassiker Kaiser ermöglicht es "Tales of Tamar", mit vielen Spielern auf den Plattformen Windows, AmigaOS, MacOS und Linux zusammen zu spielen und danach zu streben, Kaiser von Tamar zu werden. Die erste öffentliche Version erschien 2002. Seitdem erscheinen bis zum heutigen Tag regelmäßig Updates mit neuen Spiel-Inhalten.

In den Jahren 2001 und 2002 fanden zu diesem Spiel LARPs (Live-Action-Rollenspiele) statt, zu denen wir jeweils ein kurzes Video produziert haben. Diese Videos stehen ab sofort auch auf Youtube in DVD-Auflösung zur Verfügung.

In einem weiteren Video aus dem Jahr 2005 stellt "Tales of Tamar"-Chefentwickler Martin Wolf ausführlich die vielfältigen Features des Spiels vor und gibt einen umfassenden Überblick über die Komplexität des Spiels in späteren Spielzügen. [...]

LhA archiver has a bug in it that results in year beyond 2010 to get archived as 1980. All Amiga LhA versions have this issue.

Until LhA fix is provided you should be aware of this issue for example when using LhA for backup purposes. Similarly you should be careful when uploading LhA archives to aminet or other collections. [...]
