Founded in 1992, it has become the first point of contact for users who are looking for software for the Amiga.

In general, the software is uploaded directly by its programmer. For your information, Aminet now stores approximately 30 GB of data.

New uploads in The Aros Archive

The AROS Archives is a collection of software for the AROS Research Operating System and can be found via the URL http://archives.aros-exec.org .

It runs in a similar way to Aminet, as the programmers themselves usually upload their own software in order to make it available to AROS users.

The cheats database of Amiga Future is updated weekly by David Jahn, even if at first sight that is not immediately apparent.

The cheat database on the Amiga Future webpage is probably the largest German collection for the Amiga.

VanillaConquer - Amiga port released in the Version 1.0.

Vanilla Conquer is a port of Command & Conquer (a.k.a. Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn or simply C&C/C&C1) for Amiga's equipped with Apollo/Vampire V4 PiStorm/Emu-68 accelerators.

It is a 1995 real-time strategy video game produced by Westwood Studios for MS-DOS and released internationally by Virgin Interactive. It was the first of twelve games to date to be released under the title Command & Conquer; six subsequent titles having since continued the story set as sequels with one acting as a prequel, along with the production of several spin-off games. Met with universal acclaim by consumers and critics, Command & Conquer was released for seven separate platforms along with becoming the initiator of the Command & Conquer franchise, and today generally is considered as the title which originally defined and popularized the modern real-time strategy genre. Another Amiga news story has appeared in our inbox that's worthy of a mention, as if you remember when we posted about the upcoming game called 'EON', which is an Amiga AGA game that looks very much like the classic Shadow of the Beast. Then as of this weekend the developers AmigaWave and Goblin have posted a brand new video! For those of you who haven't heard of this game before, it was apparently released way back in 2014 by Worderboy Bobi, as a short playable PC demo, inspired by games such as Shadow of the Beast or Lion Heart and classed as an action RPG with skill and items progression.
