NetInterface file for cnet16.device

Hey I know it's a small thing, but could the next update to Roadshow please include a CNet16 NetInteface, identical to the CNet one just with the device set to cnet16.device? I've been talking some fairly inexperienced Amiga users through setting up Roadshow (they're general retro enthusiasts who ar...

System crash in OS3.9

Hey I have just acquired an A4000D with a GVP A4060 (T-Rex II) 060 board with 128MB of Fast RAM. I've just done a fresh install of OS3.9, BB1 and BB2, and GVP's 68040/68060 libraries (v1.2 of 68060.library, by Ralph Babel). In CED5, any Save operation causes the machine to immediately hang, I see a ...

Re: Graceful startup with missing netinterfaces

Does anyone know of a tool that can detect the name of a PCMCIA card, so I could write a script to move the correct netinterface file into DEVS:NetInterfaces ? Since it didn't seem like such a thing exists, I wrote one: http://aminet.net/package/util/cli/cardInfo It includes an example script that,...

Graceful startup with missing netinterfaces

Hey I'm using an A600 and I have two PCMCIA network cards, a cnet16.device wired card and a prism2.device wireless card. If I have both cards configured in DEVS:NetInterfaces/ I get errors on boot from the device drivers. It's quite annoying to have to move the netinterface files around depending on...

Roadshow wget speed reporting bug?

I've just installed Roadshow on a 3.1 A600, with a NetGear FA411 ethernet card. I'm using wget to fetch some files from a machine on my LAN, and I think wget is reporting the speed incorrectly. For example, I just grabbed a 206K (210472 byte) file in 11 seconds, but the reported speed is 16.33B/s. B...
