Re: ftp put crashes my amiga 3000

Hello olsen, I hope you are ok and well, > I suspect that this may be a stack size issue, for which I have not yet rolled a bug-fix into a general Roadshow update. I seem to have seen similar behaviour as the OP, so I wondered if you might have found actual stack related issues with the ftp cli cli...

Re: Roadshow Issues

A2000 Nacktes OS3.1.4, 68000, A4000T Nacktes OS3.1.4, 68...

Re: CED mouse blanker ignores absolute mouse movements

.. Right now I have added a workaround for this in SynergyClient where it sends one dummy relative mouse event (IECLASS_RAWMOUSE) with zero movement after entering the screen, so you at least are guaranteed to see when you enter the Amiga screen after using CED. This of course doesn't solve the iss...

Re: Strange DNS lookup issue wrong name and IP resolved

Hi, Something has changed so that roadshow is now not resolving names correctly. I have not changed the roadshow configuration so am guessing that I either didn't set it up correctly to start with - and it worked by luck - or there has been a more general change to dns which is now causing things t...

Re: Hydra Systems AmigaNet Ethernet Adapter

Will the Roadshow stack work with a Hydra Systems AmigaNet Ethernet Adapter? Roadshow should work with any SANA-II compliant network driver. If you are not sure if it might work for you, please try the demo version first. If the Roadshow demo does the job, so will the commercial version. That said,...

Re: ftp put crashes my amiga 3000

My Amiga 3000, x-surf 100, buster 11 with a clean Workbench 3.1, x-surf unified driver, and latest roadshow installed and correctly configured crashes with every ftp put to an ubuntu vsftpd server. ping works, wget works. How do I diagnose this? First thing, please verify that the Roadshow ftp comm...

Normally I'd point you to "https://roadshow.apc-tcp.de", but the associated show page seems to be down right now :-(

This needs looking into.

How about supporting mDNS for looking up systems on the LAN, that most likely are not in DNS? I think SMBFS could benefit from this ;) Implementing multicast DNS is a wee bit too tricky for me :( Porting an existing mDNS implementation would be possible, but the downside would be in making the Road...

Re: slip.device - where to find it?

Software-only drivers such as "slip.device", "plip.device" or the "ppp-serial.device" driver included with Roadshow are supported, too. Note that you still need a serial or parallel port to use these drivers. I can find plip.device and the included ppp-serial.device, b...

Re: DNS issues (I think), can I keep DHCP but use static DNS

In my LAN I have a NAS acting as local DNS server (proxying real dns servers). My cablemodem (= default gateway & local DHCP server) lists this NAS as primary DNS server. Is this strictly necessary? I am asking because normally, your ISP would suggest which DNS servers to use, and these are com...
