Re: NetInterface file for cnet16.device

Hey I know it's a small thing, but could the next update to Roadshow please include a CNet16 NetInteface, identical to the CNet one just with the device set to cnet16.device? I've been talking some fairly inexperienced Amiga users through setting up Roadshow (they're general retro enthusiasts who a...

I can't figure out why my 68k amiga is not visible. :( I found start-firewall from S, commented everything out. It shouldn't start? Or how it is started or is it even started? No, it is not started automatically. If you wanted to use it, you would have to modify it so that it suits your setup. In i...

Could you tell me more about the issue at hand? What exactly happens that should work differently?

Re: Roadshow wget speed reporting bug?

I've just installed Roadshow on a 3.1 A600, with a NetGear FA411 ethernet card. I'm using wget to fetch some files from a machine on my LAN, and I think wget is reporting the speed incorrectly. For example, I just grabbed a 206K (210472 byte) file in 11 seconds, but the reported speed is 16.33B/s. ...

Re: Support for DHCP offer via unicast instead of broadcast?

Sounds great! A question though, just to make things clear: This extra option for the interface configuration file isn't enough. Roadshow actually has to understand the unicast datagrams too, right? Before it actually has gotten an IP assigned. Quick update: I just tested the DHCP unicast option wi...

Re: Support for DHCP offer via unicast instead of broadcast?

Roadshow (68k and OS 4.1 FE) "only" supports DHCP offers via broadcast, not via unicast. Any plans on changing that? Some info here: https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/thread/32255 "At Layer 2, the client's messages are always broadcast, and those of the server's can be unicast or bro...

Re: IOBlix ethernet addon module

Hello, I recall at the time when installing roadshow, I could not get my IOBlix working, and had to turn to ariadne1 instead. At some point in furure, I hope to find the time to do some more testing, but first I would like to ask if there are any known issues? From the top of my head, there are the...
