Prism2 connection

I tried and configured Roadshow with Prism2v2 v2.4. It works great, but there is an issue.

If I have the roadshow setup to start on every boot, the boot stops, because until the prism connection established, Roadshow can't start. So it needs to be started manually after every boot. Is there a way to know if Prism completes it's connection with the router, and only after that roadshow start trying to connect?

Does Roadshow wait until the connection is established and then continues? Or does it throw an error?

If it waits, I would suggest to start it asynchronously in the background. To do so replace

Execute S:Network-Startup

by

Code: Select all

Run >NIL: Execute s:Network-Startup

in S:User-Startup.

If you need a message when Roadshow is started, you can add something like this to the end of S:Network-Startup:

RequestChoice >NIL: Roadshow "The network is up." Ok

If Roadshow throws an error you might want to remove the entry from S:User-Startup and put it into a script which you can run by an icon.

Moin ich habe eine W-lan karte am AMIGA 1200
und Roadshow läuft super,wenn ich kein W-lan
Passwort an habe,ich möchte aber gern mein
Passwort nicht raus machen wie bekomme ich
eine verbindung wenn ich wep oder wpa
an habe wo muss ich die login daten eingeben
weis das jemand.

Das steht in der Anleitung vom prism2.device. Mit Roadshow hat das nichts zu tun.
