English PayPal instructions needed

Post by gwyche »

Encouraged by the AmiWest show I wish to place an order for Amiga Future English.

After some trouble I did complete the order form. Paypal is my choice for payment, but I was sent to a German language page. I do not speak or read German. I am not willing to guess at what information was being requested of me.

So I am looking for a solution to allow me to order by PayPal an English subscription to Amiga Future.

Any suggestions?

I suggest that the PayPal option be translated into English (in a .png file that I can see on this website?) or that a link in the purchasing path send me to PayPal in English.

P.S. Assuming an order is placed in the next few days, do you have an estimate of when the first copy of the magazine would arrive in Austin, TX? I ask because I can advertize on our Amiga Club website of its presentation at our monthly club meeting.

Try appending "&hl=US" (without the quotation marks) to the PayPal URL and it should come up in English.

English PayPal

The following caused no change in the page:

https://www.paypal.com/de/cgi-bin/websc ... 6e02&hl=US

I also tried putting &hl=UL just before &SESSION. That also did not work.

Any other suggestion?

Hello

you use the english version from our shop?

http://www.apc-tcp.de/shop/e_index.php

but when you have a problem with the paypal-link go direct to www.paypal.com and send the money to "Andreas@apc-tcp.de".

PayPal in English

@Andreas

I did use the ENGLISH shop. In the shop I found the {GERMAN] (OK) gadget and cycled to English and clicked the OK next to it.

I used your suggestion and went to paypal and sent the money to where you said.

Hope you don't have any relatives in Nigeria! Hee, hee.
