Hallo zusammen,
---
Hello together,
i would like to tell you now the newest News from DBPro:
-
As was to be read, we have a programmer change behind us.
He has needed also time to check up the source. At present the
programming is again in the full course! The frist things are changed in C.

Gonna take ages... (+ a bit of grumbling :))

Hmm... Rewriting the existing program itself will take a lot of time I guess. And I'd love to see some innovations . The most urgent thing (imho) is the Mixer - the quality of the output is not as good as you may expect despite 16-bit/44khz samples used. The resulting sound is "flat", lack dynamics and I think some higher frequencies are missing. It's not the fault of AHI's FILESAVE - I've already contacted Martin Blom about that.
And I hope I filled in this post properly - "Benutzername" means simply "name", right?

Re: Gonna take ages... (+ a bit of grumbling :))
That is right! But it must be because for future development Assembler isn't the right no more. On the new Amigas we want to have power Not our old loved CustomChips, hehe.Hmm... Rewriting the existing program itself will take a lot of time I guess.
We, tooAnd I'd love to see some innovations .
Well, it can have several reasons:The most urgent thing (imho) is the Mixer - the quality of the output is not as good as you may expect despite 16-bit/44khz samples used. The resulting sound is "flat", lack dynamics and I think some higher frequencies are missing. It's not the fault of AHI's FILESAVE - I've already contacted Martin Blom about that.
1) Which AHI Device do you use ?
2)
As more channels you used, as more quietly the piece becomes.
So, that is might be one of the main reasons why your resulting sound is "flat"
May be Martin can help us in future ?!
Yes you're right But you can also register your NickName for this ForumAnd I hope I filled in this post properly - "Benutzername" means simply "name", right?
